Natural food is big business, not only for humans, but for our four-legged friends. The marketplace was becoming increasingly crowded and, as more claims were being made, more people were becoming confused and losing trust. In 2017 James Wellbeloved decided it was time to relaunch the brand, and it was our job to create a website at the heart of it all. Not just something that looked pretty, but a website that acted as a focal point for all communications and helped reinforce the brand’s values.
We began by working closely with their incumbent agencies to create an integrated marketing plan. We needed to understand exactly what the website would incorporate, and it soon became the clear the existing site simply wasn’t up to the job. Not only was the usability poor and the design inconsistent, but there were many technical challenges and the whole infrastructure would need to be rebuilt from the ground up. Through a rigorous discovery process we identified a number of key user journeys and worked out the best way to help consumers understand the Wellbeloved story, pick the right product and find out where to buy it. The new structure also allowed us to integrate feeds from other media and build relevant, engaging content to educate dog lovers all over the UK.
Perhaps the biggest result for us was that we managed to complete the whole job in a 2-month timeframe. There was a lot to be done and the list just seemed to get longer every day, but it was all delivered to a very happy client in time for the new launch. Since then it’s gone from strength to strength developing over time along with the business.
“Perfect Storm have done, and continue to do, a fantastic job of transforming and developing our digital assets and marketing campaigns. They really understand our business, always go above and beyond and as a result their work speaks for itself.”
